WoW Housing: new details shared by Blizzard

World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard unveiling initial details. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, irrespective of complex prerequisites, exorbitant costs, or lottery systems. Crucially, homes will remain yours even with lapsed subscriptions. This exciting feature is set to debut with the Midnight expansion.

Initially, players can select a plot in one of two designated zones: Elwynn Forest (incorporating elements from Westfall and Duskwood) for the Alliance, or Durotar (featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline) for the Horde.

Each zone comprises multiple districts, each accommodating approximately 50 homes. Players can opt for a secluded plot or establish a private community alongside friends and guild members. A vast array of customization options will be available, primarily within the game itself, with additional items potentially offered in the shop.

Blizzard underscores the housing system's core tenets: extensive customization, robust social interaction, and enduring longevity. Further details are promised in the future, and player feedback is actively encouraged.
