Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back once more, with a new target window of October 2025. The announcement came via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the current state of the game's development. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been keeping the community informed through Dev Diaries, which have covered aspects like characters, stories, and game mechanics. However, these updates will be paused so that the development team can concentrate on enhancing the game's quality.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release, developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021.
During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, later shifted to the first half of 2025, and now is scheduled for late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is expected to launch in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for the latest news on the game by checking out our related articles below!
