Twitch Star Vows Redemption on Streaming Platform

Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans

Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform. Ross's recent absence from Kick, lasting several months, fueled rumors of a potential departure. However, his return last weekend, alongside streamers Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, marked a decisive shift. He’s now stated publicly his commitment to Kick, declaring he'll "stay for good this time."

Ross, known for his significant online presence and sometimes controversial content, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile streamers like xQc, significantly boosted Kick's growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on the platform, his unexplained absence in 2024 sparked widespread conjecture, including rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. A joint livestream with Craven in December 2024 ultimately dispelled these rumors.

Beyond his renewed commitment, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While details remain scarce, many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.

Ross's decision is a significant boost for Kick, which is aggressively pursuing growth in the streaming market. As stated by co-founder Bijan Tehrani, Kick aims to either surpass or acquire Twitch – an ambitious goal, yet increasingly plausible given the platform's current momentum and roster of prominent streamers.
