Bam Margera, a well-known figure in the skateboarding and entertainment worlds, will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk himself stepped in, contacting Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Although initially told it was impossible, Hawk's persistence paid off, ensuring Margera's place in the final lineup.

IGN has reached out to Activision for further comments on this development.

Margera, who has faced significant personal challenges including struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, as well as being fired from Jackass Forever and subjected to a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine, has recently been seen skateboarding with Tony Hawk. This reunion sparked rumors about his potential return to the game, which have now been confirmed.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025. The game will be available across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the project overcame significant hurdles, including the near-cancellation following Activision's merger of the previous series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
