Tennis Clash Crowns 2025 Roland-Garros eSeries Winner
- Colombia's Samuel Sanin Ortiz "Sasmis" triumphs at Roland Garros eSeries - Tournament's eighth edition debuts innovative team format - Naomi Osaka becomes Tennis Clash's first real-world playable character
Wildlife Studios has concluded the thrilling Finals of the Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault 2025 for Tennis Clash, with Colombian player Samuel Sanin Ortiz "Sasmis" emerging victorious. The event attracted hundreds of live spectators and thousands more watching via YouTube and Twitch streams, marking a milestone as the first edition to incorporate a team competition format alongside traditional singles play.
Unlike standard tennis tournaments, this year's championship featured an additional team phase where finalists competed in squads of four under the guidance of tennis legends like French Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli and former ATP top-10 player Gilles Simon.
Simon mentored team members Adjua Boucher "Renapower" (USA), Samuel Sanin Ortiz "Sasmis" (COL), Eugen Mosdir "AreidY" (GER) and Alessandro Bianco "ΔLEX" (ITA), while Bartoli coached Hizir Balkanci "Hizir" (TUR), Randy Van Haele "RSMKN" (BEL), Omer Feder "Omer" (ISR) and Anyndia Lestari "Anyndia" (IDN).
The championship culminated in an intense final between Sasmis and Germany's AreidY, with the Colombian player securing victory 3-1 in sets (7-10 / 10-4 / 10-7 / 10-3).
"Winning Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault means everything to me," shared an elated Sasmis. "This victory represents countless hours of preparation and dedication. The entire experience - from qualification to competing at Roland-Garros - has been unforgettable. I'm already looking forward to defending my title next year!"
The tournament also made headlines with the introduction of four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka as Tennis Clash's inaugural real-world athlete character. This marks a significant expansion for the mobile tennis game's roster.
Since its inception in 2018, the Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault has pioneered competitive eTennis, with Tennis Clash serving as its official platform since 2022. Fans can relive the championship highlights through the official livestream archive, or experience the game firsthand by downloading Tennis Clash for free on the App Store and Google Play.
