Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After a prolonged "never-ending maintenance" period that began in September 2023 (initially slated to end summer 2024), Sword Art Online Variant Showdown (SAOVS) is finally back!
The extended maintenance, as announced in August 2023, addressed core functionality issues, requiring more time than anticipated.
Sword Art Online Variant Showdown: What's New?
The relaunch features Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player arena where the most KOs win. Compete in League Matches for titles and accessories until December 30th.
Loyal players who endured the maintenance break receive a welcome-back gift: 5 [Sword Spark] Mito Pickup Scout Tickets via the Returning Player Campaign.
The Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns event offers up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards until January 30th, 2025.
You also have a chance to obtain the SSR [Sword Spark] Mito, a Light-elemental fighter, and the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
