Author : Sebastian Jan 07,2025

Farewell, SwitchArcade Readers! This is the final regular SwitchArcade Round-Up from me. After several years, I'm moving on to new challenges. But before I go, let's cover some great games!

Reviews & Mini-Views

Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU ($49.99)

Imagineer's Fitness Boxing series continues with a collaboration featuring Hatsune Miku. This rhythm-boxing game offers daily workouts, minigames, and Miku-themed content. While the main instructor's voice is a bit jarring, the overall experience is impressive, especially the music. Best used alongside other fitness routines.

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5

Magical Delicacy ($24.99)

A charming blend of Metroidvania exploration and cooking/crafting. While the gorgeous pixel art and music are highlights, some inventory and backtracking issues hold it back. Potential updates could greatly improve this promising title.

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5

Aero The Acro-Bat 2 ($5.99)

A surprisingly polished sequel to the classic platformer. Ratalaika's improved emulation wrapper adds a nice touch with extras like achievements and a gallery. The Super NES version is included, though a Genesis/Mega Drive version would have been a welcome addition.

SwitchArcade Score: 3.5/5

Metro Quester | Osaka ($19.99)

More of an expansion than a sequel, this prequel to Metro Quester takes players to Osaka. New dungeons, characters, and challenges await, but the core turn-based combat remains. A rewarding experience for fans of the original.

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5
