Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape's latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly," has just been unveiled in their April Dev’s Diary, and it's packed with exciting content. This new quest, available from now until April 28th, challenges players to navigate the perilous Shifting Tombs and alter the desert’s fate alongside familiar faces Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of collapse. Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people has plunged the city into chaos. Divisions are rife, and the ominous presence of Amascut looms large, signaling the start of even greater threats. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is just the beginning of your journey into danger.

But fear not, you won't be facing these challenges alone. With Leela leading the charge and new allies, including some adorable pets, by your side, you'll delve deep into Menaphos's ancient secrets. Your mission? Uncover the true intentions behind Osman's actions and strive to save the city.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Successfully completing the Pharaoh’s Folly quest comes with rewarding perks. You'll gain valuable Thieving and Agility XP, earn the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and receive a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet is not just a stylish accessory; it offers the convenience of teleporting to various districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, embarking on this quest is no walk in the park. You’ll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands" quest, and several achievements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have progressed in the Fort Forinthry storyline to unlock the necessary structures. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos's gates and begin your quest to pull the city back from the brink. Ready to dive in?
