Today's ID@Xbox showcase surprised viewers with a visit from the mischievous Jimbo, bringing exciting news: Balatro is now available on Xbox Game Pass! And he's brought some friends along for the ride.
The showcase trailer revealed a new "Friends of Jimbo" update for Balatro, adding a host of fresh face card customizations. Based on the trailer, expect to see designs inspired by Bugsnax, Civilization, Assassin's Creed, Slay the Princess, Friday the 13th, and Fallout.
This marks the fourth "Friends of Jimbo" update, following previous additions featuring characters and themes from *The Witcher*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, *Among Us*, *Divinity: Original Sin 2*, *Vampire Survivors*, *Stardew Valley*, and more. As with past updates, these are purely cosmetic additions; no major gameplay changes are included.But the big news is Balatro's immediate arrival on Xbox Game Pass. Previously available for purchase on Xbox, this makes the addictive card-slinging action even more accessible. Jimbo would approve.
