During Shift Up's IPO press conference on June 25, CFO Ahn Jae-woo shared that the company is actively exploring a PC version of Stellar Blade. He noted, "We believe this would be a great way to monetize the IP once again," as reported by GameMeca and translated by Game8. Ahn also pointed out that this decision takes into account the current distribution of the PS5 and the shift of AAA game consumers from consoles to PCs.

Furthermore, CEO Kim Hyung-Tae confirmed that the company is "currently reviewing the Stellar Blade PC version," but due to contractual obligations, they cannot disclose a specific release date. This aligns with the company's public filings about considering a PC release and a sequel for this successful IP.

Kim emphasized that their goal with Stellar Blade was to "create a high-value IP to ensure branding and gather users globally, forming a dedicated fandom." To achieve this, they intentionally avoided microtransactions to preserve the brand's integrity, aiming to communicate this commitment to their fans effectively.

Future Updates and Collaborations Are Imminent!

Stellar Blade's future looks bright with a detailed roadmap of updates and DLCs planned for the year. Fans can look forward to the much-anticipated Photo Mode in August, new costumes in October, and a major collaboration announcement later this year.
