The Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS comes in two configurations to suit different needs and budgets. The first model features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, priced at $549.99, matching the cost of the 512GB OLED Steam Deck. The second, more powerful option includes an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, priced at $749.99.
Both models boast a 120Hz display and include two USB-C ports. Users can easily expand storage with a microSD card. Additionally, the device features trigger locks for hair triggers, enhancing gameplay in competitive shooters like Marvel Rivals.
With more powerful chips than the Steam Deck, the Legion Go S should be capable of running recent titles that may be challenging for the Deck, including games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

It's important to note that these SteamOS-based Legion Go S models differ from the Windows 11-based Legion Go S released earlier this year. For more insights, check out our Lenovo Legion Go S review. If you're still interested in the Windows model, it's available at Best Buy for $729.99.
Valve has also announced plans to make SteamOS available for other non-Steam Deck handhelds. This means gamers will soon be able to install SteamOS on various handheld gaming PCs. With the launch of the SteamOS-based Legion Go S models, these devices stand out as top choices for those seeking performance beyond what the Steam Deck offers.
