Speed Demons 2 Announced for PC

Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. Boasting a similar high-speed aesthetic and gameplay, this PC title follows the original mobile game and is slated for release later this year.

The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players this unconventional approach proves surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including the intensely competitive Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all echoing the destructive spirit of Burnout Road Rage. These modes challenge players to eliminate other cars within a time limit. For a different kind of thrill, try Scratchless, a nod to Burnout's Burning Lap, where the goal is to reach the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
