Sony has officially unveiled the PC specifications for The Last of Us Part II Remastered ahead of its April 3 release, alongside details about PSN sign-in incentives and new content for the No Return Mode, available on both PC and PlayStation 5.
In a recent PlayStation Blog post, developer Naughty Dog highlighted the features that Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy have incorporated into the PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, which follows a year after its PlayStation 5 debut.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC Features:

The PC version includes enhanced keyboard and mouse control customization options, such as full control remapping, primary and secondary bindings, and an adaptive mode that combines keyboard and controller inputs. DualSense controllers offer full haptic feedback. Sony emphasizes that the game provides a wide range of graphics settings and presets to optimize performance across a variety of hardware, from high-end PCs to handheld devices.
The Last of Us Part 2 PC Specs:
For those diving into No Return Mode, two new characters—Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part I—are being introduced. Bill adopts a "Smuggler" playstyle, utilizing a custom pump shotgun and receiving double rewards from drops, while being stronger against melee attacks but unable to dodge. Marlene, on the other hand, features a "Risk Taker" playstyle with a Custom Assault Rifle and "All or Nothing" gambits, allowing her to reroute her No Return path once per run.
Additionally, four new maps are being added to No Return Mode:
- Overlook: Set above Seattle with vertical gameplay elements, reminiscent of a Seraphites encounter.
- School: An abandoned elementary school where Ellie and Dina face the W.L.F.
- Streets: Located in the overgrown Hillcrest neighborhood of Seattle.
- Nest: Familiar to those who played as Abby, set in an Infected-infested building.
All new No Return content, along with new Trophies and bug fixes, will be available on PS5 simultaneously with the PC launch through a free downloadable 2.0.0 patch.
Regarding the optional PSN log-in for the PC version, signing in offers access to the PlayStation overlay, PSN Trophies, 50 in-game points for bonus features, and a new skin for Ellie featuring Jordan A. Mun's jacket from Naughty Dog's upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. PS5 players can also unlock this skin through the 2.0 patch using in-game bonus points.
In related news, The Last of Us director Neil Druckmann discussed the development of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet in an interview with Alex Garland. The game has been in development for four years and explores themes of faith and religion in an alternate historical timeline, starring Tati Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun.
The PC release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered comes ahead of Season 2 of HBO's adaptation, with showrunners Druckmann and Craig Mazin confirming the return of spores, which were omitted from Season 1.
