New Shining Revelry Expansion Coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket This Month

My interest in Pokemon TCG Pocket ebbs and flows, but nothing reignites my passion quite like the arrival of a new expansion. I dive deep into the game when a new set drops, playing intensely as I aim to earn Emblems by securing around 40 victories. Once that's achieved, my engagement shifts to a more casual routine: logging in daily to open packs, enjoying a Wonder Pick for fun, and then logging off until the next day. This cycle is set to repeat with the launch of the upcoming expansion, Shining Revelry, slated for March 27th.

Shining Revelry is set to enrich Pokemon TCG Pocket with 110 new cards, encompassing a variety of new Ex Pokemon, Trainer cards, and the much-loved art cards. The highlight of this expansion, as hinted by its name, is the introduction of Shiny Pokemon. These are unique, differently colored versions of familiar Pokemon. For instance, you'll encounter a yellow Lucario instead of the usual blue, and a Pachirisu sporting a striking pink stripe.

The trailer, which you can view below, offers a tantalizing sneak peek into what's in store. A standout card is the new Shiny Charizard Ex, boasting 180 HP and a powerful attack called Steam Artillery that inflicts 150 damage at the cost of five energy. Its other move, Stoke, lets you attach three Fire Energy cards at once, making it a strategic powerhouse.

Another exciting addition is the Lucario Ex, which transitions from a supporting role in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion to a more aggressive combatant. With 150 HP and the ability to use Aura Sphere, which not only deals 100 damage for three Fighting Energy but also hits an opponent's Benched Pokemon for 30, it's poised to be a game-changer.

The trailer also showcases other intriguing cards, including Shiny versions of Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom, each adding a splash of color and excitement to the game. Not to be overlooked is the stunning Tatsugiri art rare, which I'm eager to add to my digital collection.
