"Romancing Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3: A Guide"
Quick Links
In Baldur's Gate 3, while many players are familiar with the game's well-known romance options, there are hidden gems that can easily be overlooked. One such unique encounter is with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This fleeting romance occurs during a particularly bustling part of the game, and in this guide, we'll detail where to find Naoise and how to romance her in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:
To encounter and romance Naoise, you must progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey toward Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Here, you'll need to meet Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a local brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.
If you've already visited Wyrm's Crossing, utilize the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point, which will transport you directly to Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
You'll find Naoise in the Nymph's Grotto, a special chamber on the second floor, accessible just after passing through the door to the outside area. The correct door is identifiable by a green light and ivy on the walls. It's locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Interrupting their intimate moment leads to a confrontation; a tadpole in Jara's head interacts with yours, causing her to mention the Absolute and transform into a Mindflayer. You must defeat her to proceed.
After Jara's defeat, Naoise turns her attention to you, expressing an interest in Mindflayers. Engage in the following dialogue options to progress:
- "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
- "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
An Insight check reveals Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue with:
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
- "What did you have in mind?"
- 'Close your eyes and listen'
The ensuing romance occurs entirely in your mind. Naoise asks you to choose 'what you will be?' from the following options:
- Revered
- Contented
- Powerful
- Rich
- I think we're done here.
Selecting 'Contented' leads to a brief romance scene. Post-encounter, Naoise has no further interest in you, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Even if your character is in a relationship with another, like Karlach, this encounter doesn't seem to affect their relationship.
After romancing Naoise, you'll earn the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point from Shadowheart, and Naoise grants you the Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks.
