"Rivals Update 9: Gunblade and Bridge Map Added, Ranked Mode Coming Soon"

The first-person shooter PvP Roblox experience, Rivals, has just rolled out Update 9, bringing a fresh wave of excitement with the innovative Gunblade weapon and the thrilling Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games has provided a detailed breakdown in the patch notes for this latest update, which, while shorter than some previous ones, promises to keep the community engaged with its new additions.

Rivals enthusiasts are known for their love of the game's fast-paced FPS action and diverse arsenal, and the Gunblade is set to become a fan favorite. This versatile weapon combines the functionality of a rifle with the melee prowess of a giant blade, allowing players to switch tactics mid-combat and surprise their opponents. The new Bridge map enhances this experience by forcing players into close-quarters combat right from the start. Set in Seoul and designed by creator @GreatGuyBoom, this map features a concrete bridge with minimal cover, making every encounter intense and immediate.

Interestingly, the Rivals Update 9 patch notes do not include any specific bug fixes, balance changes, or quality-of-life enhancements. The developers at Nosniy have chosen to focus solely on introducing the Bridge map and the Gunblade. However, they did make minor adjustments to the skins of the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, and renamed several items from "Hexxed" to "Vexed." Nosniy assures fans that the next major update will bring the much-anticipated Ranked mode, along with all necessary improvements and changes based on community feedback.

“We hear all of your feedback and want to reassure you all that every necessary & additional changes/improvements will be made in time for Ranked,” the team stated, showing their commitment to enhancing the player experience.

NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES!

The Winter Spotlight has been replaced with a brand new set of challenges! Complete tasks on the new Bridge map to earn keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm!

OTHER

The Demon Shorty & Demon Uzi skins have been slightly modified. The Hexxed Flare Gun skin, Hexxed Candle skin, and Hexxed wrap have been renamed to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, & Vexed respectively.
