"Reverse: 1999 Launches Chinatown Showdown Update Part One"

The wait is finally over for fans of Reverse: 1999 as version 2.5 part one, dubbed "Showdown in Chinatown," is now live! This Hong Kong cinema-inspired update brings a thrilling new chapter to the game, introducing both limited and five-star characters to enhance your gameplay experience.

In this update, the notorious arcanist criminal Nightpiercer resurfaces in Los Angeles, prompting the Vigiles Bureau to assign Officer Liang Yue to collaborate with the Division of Arcane Affairs in a bid to capture Nightpiercer once and for all. Liang Yue, the new limited character, is available through the "Moonbeam Guardian" Dushuo Limited Banner. Alongside Liang Yue, you can also get your hands on the five-star character Loggerhead.

To celebrate the launch, all players can claim a free garment for the beloved character Windsong. Moreover, there are 40 free pulls available through various rewards and events, giving you ample opportunity to add these top-tier characters to your roster.

Alongside the new characters, "Showdown in Chinatown" introduces two exciting challenges: "When the Alarm Sounds" and the board game-themed "Critter Crash." Both events run until the 29th and offer special rewards, including Limited Portraits and a new garment.

The update also features a new garment series, "Old Stories New Perspectives," inspired by traditional Chinese-style dresses. This series is available for characters Jiu Niangzi, Tuesday, Sotheby, The Fool, and Windsong, allowing you to dress up your favorite arcanists in stunning new outfits.
