Begin by speaking to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov, and then proceed to the designated pasture to start the quest.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

During the quest, Henry must choose between siding with Prochek or Olbram. To side with Prochek, speak to him in Tachov and choose the dialogue option, "Let’s get those Zhelejovites!" To side with Olbram, talk to him in Zhelejov and select, "Let’s go and see those Tachovites!"

If you attempt to reconcile them during their negotiations at the pasture, it will only escalate the conflict. However, successfully passing a dialogue check during these negotiations can cause one member of the opposing side to flee, making the subsequent fight easier. Winning the fight for either side will earn you some groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a more amicable resolution, before heading to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram if they wish to end the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz to meet with Baliff Thrush and select the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace." Passing the subsequent dialogue check allows you access to the scribe’s room to read the Troskowitz Chronicle. If you fail to persuade the Baliff, you can sneak into the room, but remember to save your game beforehand.

Once in the scribe’s room, engage with the scribe and choose the dialogue option, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."

Next, go to the pasture and locate three oak trees aligned next to each other. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. Your choices with the nail are:

• Leaving it in the middle tree will divide the pasture equally between Tachov and Zhelejov.
• Placing the nail in the west tree will allocate more land to Tachov.
• Placing the nail in the east tree will allocate more land to Zhelejov.

The choice of where to place the nail is inconsequential to ending the feud, so select based on your preference or remain neutral. After deciding, speak with Baliff Thrush again, who will agree to end the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to finalize the resolution.
