Raptor Year Brings Content Bonanza to Hearthstone

Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor is here, bringing a revitalized competitive scene and exciting new content! This year boasts a new expansion cycle, a Core Set refresh, and the return of Hearthstone esports.

Key highlights include:

• Core Set Update: A revamped Core Set featuring returning favorites, crucial balance adjustments, and exciting new cards. Certain high-impact, disruptive cards have been removed to enhance gameplay. Specific details will be revealed soon.

• Esports Resurgence: Get ready for thrilling competition! The 2025 Hearthstone Esports program, in partnership with Netease Thunderfire, will include two Seasonal Championships and a World Championship, offering a minimum of $600,000 in prize money. Format and rules will be announced shortly.

• Major Arena Update (Patch 32.2): Following the launch of Into the Emerald Dream, Patch 32.2 will deliver a significant Arena overhaul, promising a streamlined drafting experience and a revitalized Arena mode. This patch also includes a Battlegrounds Seasonal Update and the Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set (releasing a patch earlier than usual).

This adjusted patch schedule is a strategic move to optimize development and content delivery. The Into the Emerald Dream expansion will maintain its standard structure, with all planned updates and events. The regular patch schedule will resume with Patch 33.0 after Patch 32.4.

The Into the Emerald Dream expansion launches soon, preceded by a special pre-release event. A new Year of the Raptor game board, featuring updated visuals and audio, will also be available.
