Project R.I.S.E. is bringing Clash Heroes back from the dead (sort of)

Clash Heroes lives on… in spirit! While the original game is no more, its unique visual style is being resurrected in Supercell's new pre-alpha title, Project R.I.S.E.

This isn't a direct sequel, but rather a social roguelite where three players team up to conquer The Tower. The core visual assets—the art style, characters, and other visual elements—are being repurposed from Clash Heroes, offering a familiar aesthetic for fans of the original.

Project R.I.S.E.: A Look Ahead

Supercell's track record with less successful titles means Project R.I.S.E.'s future isn't guaranteed. The recent launch of Squad Busters might also impact its development. The game's multiplayer focus, within Supercell's already social-heavy portfolio, raises questions about its long-term viability.

Despite having been in development for some time, Project R.I.S.E. is now entering pre-alpha. This offers a glimmer of hope for those wanting to experience the resurrected art style of Clash Heroes in a fresh, roguelite format.
