The latest expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket, titled *Shining Revelry*, has introduced dazzling new shiny variants and over 110 new cards to the game. These additions include exciting cards from the Paldea region, which have fans buzzing with excitement. As a player, I couldn't resist diving into the update and splurged on a 10-pack pull using my Pack Hourglasses. My efforts were rewarded with a Charizard EX, although the rest of the haul was less impressive. However, pulling a Pokemon Center Lady card was a silver lining, as she can heal Special Conditions, a valuable asset when facing tough opponents with debilitating effects like Burn.

Alongside the new cards, the update also introduces an Emblem event, a familiar feature from previous expansions. This time, it's accompanied by the much-anticipated Ranked Matches. Players can now compete against each other, climbing from Beginner to Master Ball Rank over the course of approximately one month. Your performance will be tracked with points, and at the end of the season, you'll receive a prestigious emblem to showcase your achievements. It's time for me to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting competitive decks to rise through the ranks.
