A Perfect Day Is a New Time-Loop Narrative Puzzle Where You Go Back to 1999

A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999, a new Android title from Littoral Games, offers a nostalgic trip back to 1999. Fans of their previous titles, Growing Up and Chinese Parents, will appreciate the familiar cozy atmosphere and similar watercolor art style, which effectively conveys the narrative.

Launching with a limited-time price of $1.99 (February 27th – March 5th), the game will then be priced at $2.99. Pre-registered players can claim a Panda Quake Mini 4WD in-game. A limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, is available in ‘My Bedroom’ until March 26th.

A Time-Loop Puzzle Adventure

As the title suggests, the game centers around the last day of 1999, a recurring theme in Littoral Games' portfolio. Players experience this day repeatedly, uncovering secrets about classmates, friends, and family, aiming to create a "perfect day" for everyone.

Featuring seven time segments, eleven main characters, twenty event cards, and a free DLC, players control an elementary schoolboy trapped in a time loop, reminiscent of Groundhog Day. Through repetition, players revisit childhood friendships, explore the lives of their parents, and make impactful choices that alter the narrative's outcome.

Nostalgia and Mini-Games

The game emphasizes memories, regrets, and the weight of decisions. Its interconnected narrative allows for varied outcomes based on player choices. The experience is enhanced by several mini-games, including a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade, perfectly capturing the essence of 90s gaming.

This blend of interactive storytelling and nostalgic visuals makes A Perfect Day Pocket a compelling experience. Find it on the Google Play Store and view the trailer below for a visual preview.
