LE SSERAFIM Returns To Overwatch 2 With New Skins, Emotes, and In-Game Challenges

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce another exciting collaboration with the beloved K-pop sensation, LE SSERAFIM. This event, scheduled to launch on March 18, 2025, aligns perfectly with the release of LE SSERAFIM's highly anticipated new album, "Hot." Players can look forward to an array of new skins, emotes, and engaging in-game challenges. This marks a significant follow-up to their initial collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's track "Perfect Night."

On March 11, Overwatch 2 teased fans with a captivating trailer on Twitter (X), officially confirming the upcoming event. This collaboration was first hinted at during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, where Blizzard announced their plans for a second event with LE SSERAFIM.

The event will introduce stunning new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, fans can purchase recolored skins from the 2023 collaboration, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.

While the unique Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration will not return, as it was specifically tied to LE SSERAFIM's "Perfect Night" video, players will still have plenty to enjoy. By participating in the event's challenges, players can earn the exclusive Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin.

In an insightful interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared the team's excitement about the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She further elaborated on the absence of a new Overwatch-specific song, stating, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration event is set to run from March 18 until March 31, 2025. As a special treat, there will be an Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream promises appearances by LE SSERAFIM members and a detailed showcase of the new skins.
