Minion Rush Adds Endless Runner Mode in Major Update

Gameloft has launched a major update for Minion Rush: Running Game, introducing significant improvements both behind the scenes and in gameplay. The game now runs on a new engine, includes fresh features, and offers updated ways to play.
What Changes Does the Major Update Bring to Minion Rush?
First, the game has officially transitioned to the Unity engine, delivering a complete visual overhaul. What was once a cartoony but slightly dated runner now appears crisper and more polished. Additionally, a redesigned user interface makes navigation smoother.
One of the most anticipated additions is the new endless runner mode, now accessible directly from the main menu. Minion-specific abilities have also been removed.
Another highly requested feature is now available: customizable player profiles with nicknames, avatars, and frames. A new Costume Collection system lets players earn special bonuses as they progress.
The Hall of Jam is another new feature. Collecting bananas during runs fills a progress bar that unlocks various rewards, including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and outfits.

New Power-Ups Join the Game
Players can look forward to power-ups like the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor. Gameloft has also added Gadgets, which provide temporary boosts to distance and performance, allowing you to refine your strategy before each run.
Familiar locations from earlier versions have received visual upgrades as well. Daily and weekly tournaments are now part of the experience, letting you compete against others and earn rewards.
