Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Announced as Sequel to Oceanhorn 2
FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have exciting news for fans of the Oceanhorn series: a new game titled Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is on the horizon. Set 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, this installment promises to deliver a fresh take on the series. Scheduled for release in Q2 2025, the game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
What’s the Story in New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?
Unlike its predecessors, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon shifts the focus from sailing the seas to exploring a perilous underground labyrinth. The game embraces a retro dungeon crawler style that promises to immerse players in a thrilling adventure.
Set in the world of Gaia, the once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has fragmented into scattered islands, and the legendary White City is now just a distant memory. However, hope persists as four determined adventurers set their sights on the mysterious Chronos Dungeon. Rumors suggest that this underground complex houses the Paradigm Hourglass—an artifact capable of altering history itself. If our heroes can brave the dangers within, they might just restore the world to its former glory.

What About the Features?
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon stays true to the classic dungeon crawler format, infused with a nostalgic 16-bit arcade vibe. The game is designed with couch co-op in mind, allowing up to four players to team up for a cooperative gaming experience.
Even if you're playing solo, you can control all four heroes or switch between them as needed, adapting to the game's varied challenges. Each hero's starting stats are influenced by their zodiac signs, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same. The four playable characters include the Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage.
The game's aesthetic is a tribute to the past with pixel art visuals and a chiptune-inspired soundtrack, complemented by classic arcade features that enhance the retro feel.
