Ninja Gaiden 4 announced, Ninja Gaiden 2 remaster released

Developer_Direct showcased more than just DOOM: The Dark Ages; the highly anticipated Ninja Gaiden 4 also made a splash. Scheduled for an autumn 2025 release, the game promises a thrilling return to the action-packed slasher gameplay fans love.

The reveal trailer highlighted Ryu Hayabusa's return as the protagonist, navigating a rain-soaked cyberpunk city teeming with genetically modified soldiers and otherworldly horrors. New mechanics, such as agile traversal using wires and rails, were showcased, adding a fresh dimension to the classic Ninja Gaiden formula. The game's setting, a dystopian megacity under an ancient curse, promises a visually stunning and challenging experience.

Adding to the excitement, a significant remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2, already available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (and Game Pass), was also featured. Team Ninja's UE5 port boasts completely overhauled character models, visual effects, and environments. Furthermore, the remaster incorporates elements from later games in the series, including the addition of three new playable characters.
