Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in The Witcher Season 5 Set Photos

The White Wolf is back for his final adventure. Production for the highly anticipated fifth and final season of *The Witcher* is currently underway, and new set photos have emerged online, giving fans a first look at Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt de Rivia. These seemingly leaked images, which can be viewed on the dedicated fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase the *Hunger Games* star in full costume, sporting the character's signature long blonde hair. Alongside Hemsworth, familiar faces such as Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier are also seen, continuing their roles from when Henry Cavill, the former Superman star, led the series. Hemsworth was confirmed to take over the role of Geralt from Cavill for Season 4 and the concluding Season 5 back in October 2022.

The set photos also feature new characters introduced in Season 4 who will carry over into the final season, including the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, as Emiel Reigs. These glimpses suggest that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who guide him toward druids. However, with Season 4 yet to be released, the storyline could take numerous turns, and fans eagerly await to see how these puzzle pieces fit together.

It's not just Cavill who has left the show; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt’s mentor and father figure Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia’s replacement, and there is no official release date for Season 4 at this time.
