One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

One More Level, renowned for the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has unveiled a new project: Cyber Slash. This brutal action title, boasting an average score of 80% across critics and players for its predecessor, takes a sharp turn from its cyberpunk roots. The Ghostrunner games, known for their demanding gameplay requiring precise timing and agility, achieved impressive scores of 81%/79% (Part 1) and 80%/76% (Part 2).

The newly revealed image hints at Cyber Slash's unique setting: a dark, alternate 19th century, reimagining the Napoleonic era. While another One More Level project, Project Swift, is slated for a 2028 release, this image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises an epic, action-packed experience, departing from the traditional Souls-like formula. Though parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo transformative mutations throughout the game.
