Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's phenomenal success continues unabated, surpassing 2 million copies sold in under two weeks.

Warhorse Studios, the developer, announced this milestone on Twitter, celebrating the sequel's achievement as a resounding triumph, echoing their earlier celebration upon reaching the 1 million sales mark just one day after launch.

This remarkable feat underscores the immense popularity of Warhorse Studios' medieval RPG sequel, which debuted on February 4th across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

Embracer Group, Warhorse Studios' parent company, highlighted the game's exceptional performance on Steam, boasting over 250,000 concurrent players at its peak. This significantly eclipses the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance's peak of 96,069 concurrent players seven years prior. The actual peak concurrent player count is likely even higher, considering the console releases, though precise figures remain unavailable from Sony and Microsoft.

Embracer lauded Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's initial success, citing positive player and critical reception alongside strong sales figures. Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors attributed the success to the dedication of Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver, expressing confidence in continued strong revenue generation over the next few years. He emphasized the game's exceptional quality, immersive gameplay, and broad appeal. Wingefors also highlighted Warhorse Studios' comprehensive roadmap, encompassing updates and new content throughout the next year, ensuring a continuously evolving experience for players.

The post-launch roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 includes three expansions slated for 2025. Spring will bring free updates, including a barber shop feature with expanded customization, Hardcore Mode, and horse racing. Summer will introduce the first paid DLC, "Brushes with Death," focusing on protagonist Henry's assistance to a mysterious artist with a shadowy past. Autumn will see the release of "Legacy of the Forge," delving into Henry's past through his adoptive father Martin's history. Finally, winter will bring "Mysteria Ecclesia," where Henry undertakes a clandestine mission within the Sedlec Monastery.
