As the Emperor's Envoy, you're a prime target. Tracking Ygwulf to his underground hideout requires navigating enemies and overcoming platforming challenges. Remember to stock up on health potions and equip your best gear.

Within the dungeon, documents reveal Ygwulf's motivations and his growing remorse. Initially believing the Gods commanded him to kill the Envoy, he experiences a change of heart. Even without finding these documents, his remorse is evident during your confrontation. He's apologetic but prepared to face the consequences.

Sparing Ygwulf: The Consequences

Surrendering Ygwulf to the Inquisitor Lödwyn is the least favorable option. This results in a brutal, implied death, yielding fewer rewards than other choices. Sparing him directly rewards you with 625 Copper Skeyt and some Adra, but his fate remains sealed; he will die later in the story.
