Honkai Impact 3rd Unveils v8.1 Update: 'Drumming in New Resolutions'

The highly anticipated v8.1 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, titled "Drumming in New Resolutions," is set to launch on February 20th, bringing a slew of exciting new content to the game. From new battlesuits and outfits to anniversary rewards, there’s plenty for fans to look forward to.

What’s New in Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1?

Kiana returns with a bang in her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, poised to ignite the battlefield. With a long staff in hand, she unleashes a 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks for devastating AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM enhance her fiery prowess, ensuring enemies truly feel the heat. Additionally, Herrscher of Human: Ego is outfitted with new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and stigmata set.

On the narrative front, Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1 delves deeper into Leylah's story. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana is back in the real world, partnering with Rice Cake and receiving a new mission from Theresa. This adventure leads them to the Moon Base for a festive celebration. By playing through the interlude, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and other rewards.

Players can also engage with a fun board to collect Yearly Chibis and build their team. Additionally, accumulating shop tokens allows for trading in Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit, and various other rewards.

New Outfits and Characters

Alongside Kiana's new battlesuit, other characters are getting stylish updates. Coralie, Luna, and Vita are all receiving new looks. Luna’s outfit is available through spend bonuses, while Vita’s can be found in Outfit Supply.

Anniversary Rewards

To celebrate the update, Honkai Impact 3rd is rolling out anniversary rewards. Logging in daily for seven days grants players a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Continuing the login streak for seven days post-update rewards players with Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.

From February 25th to March 4th, daily logins will secure an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional rewards. As a special thank-you, all players will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards upon the update's release.
