The narrative draws inspiration from Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker).

Players assume the role of Thomas Evans, drawn to the hotel by his girlfriend, Elisabeth Williams, to investigate her family's unsettling behavior. However, the unsettling truth soon emerges: the hotel is under the control of a sinister group known as 'The Quiet Ones.'

These enemies are blind but possess acutely sensitive hearing. The slightest sound will attract their attention, making stealth paramount. Forget run-and-gun tactics; survival depends on quiet movement and evasion. The gameplay mechanics are reminiscent of the film A Quiet Place. A helpful gadget temporarily stuns enemies, but it's not a foolproof solution.
