GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC
GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, bringing them to PC gamers DRM-free. These PlayStation originals, now part of GOG's Preservation Program, boast their original content fully intact.
Released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these titles represent a nostalgic trip for fans. While Dino Crisis 3 (an original Xbox exclusive) remains the last entry in the series, hopes for a reboot or remake have been largely dashed by Capcom's focus on other projects, particularly Exoprimal, and statements from series creator Shinji Mikami.
GOG's release is a boon for players, offering enhanced compatibility and features for modern systems. Previously difficult to run on modern PCs, these versions are now optimized for ease of access. GOG highlights Regina's famous line, "You're extinct!", ironically no longer applying to the games themselves.
