Compared to GPUs from the previous generation, the RTX 5070 performs similarly to the RTX 4070 Super. While we hoped for a more significant generational leap in raw performance, the RTX 4070 Super was already an outstanding card for 1080p and 1440p gaming, launching at $599.99—a mere $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. Unfortunately, finding an RTX 4070 Super at this price is nearly impossible these days. The RTX 5070 outperforms the RTX 4070 Super in games supporting DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, making it a more future-proof option that will continue to improve with driver updates.
