Genshin Impact enthusiasts, get ready for a splash of summer fun as Version 4.8, titled 'Summertide Scales and Tales,' is set to launch on July 17th. This update is bringing a wave of new content that promises to immerse you in a vibrant and enchanting experience.

The highlight of this update is the introduction of a new summer map called Simulanka. This magical wonderland is filled with origami creatures and clockwork figures, providing a picturesque setting for new adventures. Join forces with characters like Kirara, Nilou, Navia, and the Wanderer to solve mysteries, overcome challenges, and enjoy the summer atmosphere.

A new five-star character, Emilie, is joining the roster. As a Dendro polearm user and perfumer, she specializes in dealing additional damage to enemies affected by Burning. Keep an eye out for her debut and Yelan's rerun in the second half of the Version 4.8 Event Wishes, while Navia and Nilou will kick off the event cycle with their reruns.

Nilou and Kirara are also getting summer makeovers. To unlock Kirara’s new outfit, you'll need to collect 'Excerpts of Bliss' and 'Jubilant Feathers.' Meanwhile, Nilou’s floral-themed attire will be available at a special limited-time discount.

For those who love a challenge, Metropole Trials offers intense combat scenarios where you can assemble two teams for thrilling battles.

Engaging in these mini-games will earn you Starsail Coins, which you can use to purchase figurines to decorate the "Good Shelves" scattered throughout Simulanka. Completing the main storylines will also allow you to acquire these shelves as Furnishings for your Serenitea Pot, adding a personal touch to your in-game home.
