Playing The Getaway in Fortnite
Jumping into The Getaway couldn't be simpler. Just launch Fortnite on your preferred platform, head to the Lobby, and select Discover. Look for The Getaway in the available modes, then hit Play to join the matchmaking queue.
If you're having trouble spotting it, use the search function in the Lobby's top-left corner. Typing "The Getaway" should instantly bring up the game mode.
What Is The Getaway?
This action-packed heist mode challenges players to locate valuable jewels scattered across the map and make their escape via Getaway Vans. As a competitive PvP experience, you'll face off against multiple teams all vying for the same objective.
The first three teams successfully escaping with jewels claim victory, though eliminating rival squads works just as well. What makes this iteration special is its availability in Zero Build format - perfect for players who prefer gunplay over construction. You can team up in Duos or Squads, with both casual and Ranked options available.
The Getaway Start and End Dates
The mode is currently live but will disappear on April 1 at midnight Eastern Time.
Don't miss your chance to play - matches contribute valuable XP towards your Battle Pass progression while the mode remains active.
