Fortnite's Next Season: "Wanted" - Heists, Mortal Kombat, and Smart Building

Epic Games has unveiled the Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, officially titled "Wanted." This heist-themed season features a cast of gun-toting villains, gold-laden getaway vehicles, and explosive bank vaults.

The action kicks off February 21st and includes a thrilling collaboration with Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero joins the Battle Pass roster, perfectly complementing the season's robbery theme. This crossover coincides with the marketing campaign for Mortal Kombat 2, the upcoming film starring Karl Urban and Adeline Rudolph.

Skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, priced at 1,500 V-Bucks each.

Returning favorites include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain unannounced, speculation is rife amongst players, with many hoping for the return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler, echoing the similar heist-themed Chapter 4 Season 4.

A highly anticipated addition is Smart Building, a game-changer that anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction.

The heist theme extends to gameplay mechanics, replacing keycards with vault breaches. Players will require Meltanite, Fortnite's version of thermite, to crack open these vaults and claim their rewards.
