Square Enix Announces Foamstars Free-to-Play Launch on October 4th

No More PS+ Subscription Needed

In a recent support page update, Square Enix revealed that Foamstars will transition to a free-to-play model, eliminating the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription. Currently priced at $29.99 for PS4 and PS5, the game will be available for free download and play starting October 4th, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. UTC.

A "Legacy Gift" awaits players who purchased Foamstars before the switch. This exclusive bundle includes:

• 12 unique Bubble Beastie skins with varying colors
• 1 special Slide Board design
• 1 exclusive title: "Legacy"
