Evolutionary Power-Ups

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a robust 90 power in all battle scenarios).

Special and Timed Research

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, lasting a week after the main event. Logging in during Community Day unlocks tasks that reward encounters with these special-background Pokémon.
