Epic Games Store's Mobile App Receives a Major Upgrade

Get ready for a significantly enhanced mobile experience with the Epic Games Store! A major overhaul is bringing nearly 20 new third-party games to the platform, alongside the popular free games program. This expansion marks a significant step for Epic, bringing their free game offerings to Android globally and iOS within the European Union.

This month's free game is Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, available until February 20th. Following this, Bloons TD6 will take its place. The update also introduces improved cross-platform functionality, allowing users to seamlessly access their Epic accounts and game libraries across Android and iOS devices. An automatic update feature ensures your game collection remains current.

Epic's commitment to its mobile storefront is evident. While facing challenges in the PC market against Steam, the introduction of free games is a smart strategy to attract mobile gamers. Their developer-friendly revenue-sharing model also remains a key differentiator, particularly in their ongoing disputes with Apple.
