EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025

Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of two popular titles from the EA Play game library. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify the end of online functionality for these games; however, it means they'll no longer be accessible through your EA Play subscription. Subscribers are encouraged to enjoy these games while they remain available.

Key Dates:

  • Madden NFL 23: Removal from EA Play: February 15th, 2025
  • F1 22: Removal from EA Play: February 28th, 2025

Adding to the February changes, UFC 3's online services will be discontinued on February 17th, 2025. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains unconfirmed, but its core online features will be unavailable.

Games Leaving EA Play:

  • Madden NFL 23
  • F1 22

Despite these departures, EA Play subscribers still have plenty to look forward to. Newer installments in these franchises – Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 – remain accessible. Furthermore, UFC 5 is set to join the EA Play lineup on January 14th, 2025, offering a fresh fighting experience. While losing games from a subscription service is always unfortunate, the availability of newer titles in these popular series helps mitigate the impact.
