Funcom has just released an exciting new trailer for Dune: Awakening, their upcoming multiplayer survival game set in the iconic "Dune" universe crafted by Frank Herbert. This latest preview zeroes in on the vast, treacherous deserts of Arrakis, giving players a thrilling sneak peek at the adventures and challenges that lie in store.

In Dune: Awakening, survival hinges on exploration. Players will traverse the dangerous dunes to collect vital resources needed for constructing shelters and vehicles, such as combat-ready ornithopters. To streamline the hunt for resources, players can employ a scanner, and by placing probes on higher ground, they can uncover essential points of interest across the map.

These points of interest vary from crashed spacecraft to deserted outposts. Accessing these locations often demands creativity, with tools like grappling hooks, power belts, and specialized gear being crucial. All gear can be enhanced at your base using modular components, ensuring you're always ready to tackle the perils of Arrakis.
