This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and the acclaimed Legend of Korra studio, Studio Mir, was first announced back in 2018. The first season will consist of eight episodes.
While plot details remain shrouded in mystery, the series appears to center around Dante, the iconic protagonist from the first three Devil May Cry games, though any direct connections to the game's storylines are yet to be confirmed. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.
The last main entry in the Devil May Cry game series was Devil May Cry 5, released in 2019. This title marked a triumphant return to form for the franchise, following a period of relative inactivity since 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry. A standout action title, Devil May Cry 5 is highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full review here.
