How To Demand a Trade in MLB The Show 25 Road to the Show
Even in the virtual world of *MLB The Show 25*, sometimes a change of scenery is just what you need. San Diego Studio's baseball sim lets you experience the thrill of a trade, but unlike previous versions, directly requesting a trade isn't an option in Road to the Show. However, there's a clever workaround to help you find a new team faster.
After completing your high school career, you'll choose between college or going pro. While initially your path is set, the dynamic nature of professional baseball means a trade is always a possibility. Previous *MLB The Show* titles allowed players to initiate trade requests, but *MLB The Show 25* takes a different approach.
The key is the "Trade Frequency" slider located in the Road to the Show settings under the Sliders section. Setting this slider to its maximum increases the overall trade activity within the mode. This doesn't guarantee an immediate trade; other teams need to notice your performance before making an offer.
Once you've generated some buzz around the league, your agent will inform you of potential trade interest. You'll then receive trade offers and can carefully consider your options. Remember, there’s no guarantee of further offers, so choose wisely. Once you've accepted a trade and joined your new team, remember to adjust the Trade Frequency slider back down to avoid constant trade requests.
That's how you effectively "demand" a trade in *MLB The Show 25* Road to the Show. For more tips and tricks, check out our guide on the best pitching settings.
*MLB The Show 25* is available now in Early Access on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
