The South Korean regulator, GRAC, has assigned an age rating of "19+" to the highly anticipated game, *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. This rating stems from the game's inclusion of "excessive violence," "excessive profanity, profanity and swearing," and scenes that depict the use of various illegal substances.

In a heartfelt gesture, game creator Hideo Kojima recently presented flowers to actress Shiori Kutsuna in appreciation for her completion of work on *Death Stranding 2*. Kutsuna has been involved with the project since the fall of 2022, navigating the challenges of the pandemic to perform motion capture in Los Angeles, undergo 3D scanning, and record voice lines in both Japanese and English at various locations. Hideo Kojima expressed his gratitude, stating, "Fantastic work, much obliged!"

During the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Hideo Kojima unveiled new materials for *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*, showcasing several two-minute cutscenes. These scenes introduced the protagonist's allies, including George Miller's character, Tarman, who captains the mobile base Magellan across tar lakes, and Dollman, portrayed by Fatih Akin, a living doll and former medium who has lost his human form. Léa Seydoux reprises her role as Fragile, while Elle Fanning plays a mysterious character named Tomorrow, discovered in a location resembling the realm of the dead. Interestingly, the original tagline for *Death Stranding* was "Tomorrow is in your hands."

One of the showcased cutscenes features characters singing the iconic song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and engaging in dialogue with a pregnant woman named Rainy, portrayed by Shiori Kutsuna.
