Cyberpunk 2077 developer revealed why there is no male V in Fortnite
Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Crossover: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly anticipated the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover event. While the collaboration delivered a stylish item set, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation and debate. Many pondered CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies, but the explanation is surprisingly straightforward.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker for this crossover, offered a clear explanation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Therefore, the omission of the male V was a pragmatic decision, not a deliberate exclusion. This Fortnite appearance marks Keanu Reeves' second skin in the game, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
