How To Craft & Level Up Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Gem creation utilizes Pyroxene and occurs at any in-game inn or tent. Access the "Create Gems" option (usually the second from the top in your room's menu). You can use Pyroxene to craft gems at a 1:1 ratio. Five unique gems are craftable, with each Pyroxene offering a random chance at creating one of them.

Initially crafted gems are level 1 and equippable via the Battle Preparations menu. Crafting duplicates provides experience points (XP) to the base gem, increasing its effectiveness with each level. For broad improvement, use all your Pyroxene at once.

To target specific gems, utilize the "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" effect. Crafting a single gem sometimes triggers this, limiting the possible gem outcomes for subsequent Pyroxene usage. Cancel and restart the crafting menu to avoid this effect if unwanted. While time-consuming, crafting one gem at a time increases your chances of activating "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" for your desired gem. Note that even with "Eyes of the Sacred Bird," crafting remains somewhat random.

Where To Find Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Pyroxene, represented by orange crystals, randomly appears across the overworld map. Collecting a crystal yields one Pyroxene, and the crystal disappears. Pyroxene respawns after skirmishes or battles, encouraging exploration of previously visited areas. Letters found in your inn or tent room may also occasionally contain Pyroxene.
