Concord, launching on August 23rd for PS5 and PC, will forgo the traditional battle pass model. Firewalk Studios aims to deliver a rewarding experience from day one, with meaningful rewards earned through gameplay, character leveling, and objective completion. The focus is on creating a robust base game experience.

Season 1: The Tempest (October 2024)

Season 1, titled "The Tempest," will introduce:

• A new playable Freegunner character.
• A brand-new map.
• Additional Freegunner Variants.
• New cosmetics and rewards.
• Weekly Cinematic Vignettes expanding the Northstar crew's story.
• An in-game store offering purely cosmetic items with no gameplay impact.

Season 2 and Beyond

Season 2 is planned for January 2025, with Firewalk Studios committed to regular seasonal updates throughout Concord's first year.

Gameplay Strategy and Crew Builder

Concord's "Crew Builder" system allows for team customization with up to three copies of any Freegunner Variant within a five-Freegunner team. This encourages diverse team compositions, as combining Freegunners from different roles (Anchor, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Tactician, and Warden) unlocks Crew Bonuses, offering benefits like increased mobility and reduced cooldowns. Unlike typical hero shooter roles, Concord's Freegunners are designed for high DPS and effective gunfights. The six roles are defined by their strategic impact on the match, such as area control or flanking.
