Castle Duels Update 3.0 Enhances Tower Defense Gameplay
Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0: A Global Launch with Clan Warfare and More!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense, which soft-launched in select regions in June 2024, has officially launched globally with its major 3.0 update. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures for players worldwide.
What's New in Update 3.0?
The biggest addition is undoubtedly the Clan system. Team up with fellow players, trade units, share rewards, and purchase items from the clan store! Clan participation unlocks access to training battles for PvP practice (available from Arena 2) and the Clan Tournament (available from Arena 5). In the tournament, five-member clans compete to complete daily quests the fastest for top prizes.
Unit Overhauls and Name Changes
Several units have received significant changes:
- Raphael is now Angel: Angel's role has been redefined as a dedicated healer, restoring health instead of boosting damage.
- Knight of Light is now Risen: Visual and possibly functional changes.
- Forestlord is now Woodbeard: Visual and possibly functional changes.
- Riding Hood is now a damage-dealing unit with long-range attacks.
- Golem: Its ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee warrior role.
- Fighter: Now a defense unit with a new ability to repel opponents and reduce their damage.
Additionally, several units (Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire) have received visual updates, particularly noticeable at higher merge ranks.
