Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

Author : Zoey May 06,2025

After months of speculation and leaks, it appears that Bethesda is poised to officially unveil the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 8am PT/11am ET and will be livestreamed on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent tweet from Bethesda's official account, the teaser image prominently features a large "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, leaving little doubt about what fans can expect.

Rumors of an Oblivion remake have been circulating for years, but recent leaks have intensified the buzz. Initially, a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule from the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023 hinted at an Oblivion remaster planned for fiscal year 2022. Although the window had passed, suggesting it might have been canceled, new leaks in January of this year confirmed that Bethesda, with assistance from Virtuos, was working on a full-scale remake. The most recent leaks from Virtuos' website last week included images of the remake in progress, further solidifying these reports.

If these leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. A Deluxe Edition, featuring the infamous horse armor, will also be offered alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the official announcement and to get more detailed information on this exciting project.
